The EOS Network will rebrand to Valuta, a renamed change designed to emphasize pivots towards Web3 banking. Valuta comes with the expected token swap at the end of May. EOS tokens saw a small price profit after the announcement.
EOS Network, a blockchain network known for its scalable operating system, has announced a rebrand.
On March 18, EOS Network revealed in a press release that it had changed the name of Valuta. This is a move that coincides with the platform’s shift to Web3 banking.
EOS is expected to complete its official migration to Valuta at the end of May, including token swaps.
EOS rebranding within Straegic Shift
The rebranding of EOS Network to Valuta is the culmination of years of planning and development efforts, the project said in a press release.

According to the announcement, the goal is to use Web3 technology at the heart of this system to provide a comprehensive financial ecosystem.
“This transformation represents more than just a name change. It is a critical step in our mission to provide open and accessible financial access to everyone.”

Vaulta has a Bank Advisory Committee
As part of the brand, EOS is launching the Vaulta Banking Advisory Council. This group of banking and Web3 experts will provide expertise in various aspects of Valuta, including traditional financial bridges and decentralized finances.
The group also helps projects meet and adhere to global compliance standards and discover real-world opportunities that are important for project pilots.
The first members of the Banking Advisory Committee include Lawrence Truong, Didier Lavalle, CEO of Tetra, senior director of digital finance at Atb Financial, and Jonathan Rizzo, senior business solutions specialist at ATB Financial.

In the news, the price of EOS tokens rose slightly, rising from $0.48 to $0.51.
